It's Summertime so why not take a break from the roads and join us for the LIFE Is A BEACH 5K TRAIL RUN on the Running Trail at Westgate Park. Most of the course is grass, gravel, or pine straw trails through the woods, but some sections can be muddy depending on rain. We will run this course rain or shine so come prepared.

PLACE:

Westgate Park, Dothan, Alabama, at Beauchamp Field across from the Tennis Center.

DATE & TIME:

Saturday, August 16, 2008. 7:30 AM CDT. Registration begins at 6:30 AM.

ENTRY FEE:

$10 - No Shirt. $15.00 with left-over shirt from previous DRC races.

AWARDS:

 Overall Male & Female, first Male & Female Masters (40+) & Grandmasters (50+), & top 3 in the following age groups: 0-14,15-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-up.
Awards will also be given to the first 3 Male & Female walkers. Note: This category is for walkers only. If you plan to run and walk, please register as a runner.

REFRESHMENTS:

There will be plenty of post-race refreshments for all participants.

 The event will be held rain or shine.  The course can be muddy so come prepared with extra shoes.
